State Police arrest man for Burglary

(Watertown, NY - May 16, 2010) The State Police in Watertown arrested Zachary S. Cushman, 09/03/91 of 26219 Military Road, Watertown for Burglary 3rd and Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle.

The investigation revealed that on May 8, 2010, Cushman was a client at the Credo Community Center in the Town of Pamelia. Cushman forced entry into the office area and removed keys to a vehicle registered to Credo. Cushman then took the vehicle and left Credo without permission to operate the vehicle.

The vehicle was recovered near the zoo in the City of Watertown without any damage.

Cushman was subsequently located and arrested for the above charges, arraigned in the Town of Pamelia Court and remanded to the Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.

State Police in Watertown arrest man for stealing and using credit card

(Watertown, NY - April 16, 2010) The State Police in Watertown arrested Jeremiah Wagner 112 Barker Road, Antwerp, NY, Town of Rossie, St. Lawrence County on 2 counts of Forgery 2nd a Class D Felony and 1 count of Grand Larceny 4th a Class E Felony.

Said defendant did steal a credit card from the Nice and Easy store located on ST-342 Town of Pamelia, Jefferson County, NY and purchased property from the Super Wal-Mart stores located at ST-11 Town of Leray and ST-3 Town of Watertown on 03-07-10.

Defendant was arraigned before Town of Pamelia by town Justice Richard Baker and remanded to the Jefferson County Public Safety Building in lieu of $10,000 bail pending Grand Jury action.

State Police Watertown stop truck and find fugitive, arrest two men

(Town of Pamelia, NY – April 16, 2010) The State Police in Watertown arrested Andrew L. Harper 09-23-49 31 Cleveland Ave. Atlanta, GA for being a Fugitive from Justice and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.

Said defendant is wanted for the Felony of Failure to return a rental Vehicle by the Superior Court City of New Orleans in the State of Louisiana.

Also arrested was Tommy P. Ross 05-16-54 420 Courtland Atlanta GA for 1 count of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle 3rd, a Class A Misdemeanor. Both defendants were arrested following a vehicle and traffic stop on I-81 in the T/Watertown.

Subjects were found driving a U-haul truck that was 5 days overdue on a rental agreement from the State of Georgia. The call was initiated by a local U-Haul dealer Walt VanTassel ST-37 Town of Pamelia after the subjects attempted to drop off a vehicle carrier.

Defendants were arraigned before Town of Pamelia Town Justice Richard Baker and remanded to the Jefferson County Public Safety Building on $500 bail.

Harper is pending extradition proceedings to Louisiana.

Adams Center Man Arrested for UPM

(Alexandria Bay, March 26, 2010) The New York State Police in Alexandria Bay arrested ERIK J. DUNK, age 57, North Harbor Road, Adams Center, NY for Unlawful Possession of Marihuana.

On 03/26/10, at approximately 1:52 PM, Mr. DUNK was stopped on I-81 in the Town of Pamelia after a citizen reported to Cellular 911 that DUNK was operating his vehicle erratically. During the stop, a strong odor of Marihuana was noted coming from inside the vehicle, and the subsequent investigation revealed 7 1/2 rolled marihuana cigarettes in the center console of DUNK’s vehicle.

He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Pamelia court on 04/08/10, and released.

Calcium man arrest for stealing jewelry

(Watertown, NY - February 23, 2010) The State police in Watertown arrested Christopher E. Martin, 05/03/88, 24428 SR 11, Calcium NY. The investigation revealed that Martin was staying at a residence on CR 62, Watertown and did steal approximately $2,600 worth of miscellaneous jewelry from the residence.

Two pieces of Jewelry were recovered from the Public Square Coin and Jewelry store in Watertown.

Martin was charged with 1 count of Grand Larceny 4th, arraigned in the Town of Pamelia Court and remanded to the Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.

State Police in Watertown Arrest Man for Promoting Child Porn

The State Police in Watertown, arrested Edwins Perez 01-09-82 28344 Pheasant Run Rd. Evans Mills, NY 13637 on 1 count of Promoting an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child a Class D Felony. A search warrant was executed today on the Perez residence based on evidence gained by the New York State Police Computer Crimes/ Internet Crimes against Children Task Force with the assistance of the FBI. Numerous images of children less than 17 years old engaging in sexual conduct were secured. The incident occurred on 04-21-09. Perez was arraigned before Town Justice Richard Baker Town of Pamelia Court and ROR’d pending Grand Jury action. Fort Drum (Criminal Investigation Division) CID also assisted in the investigation.

Arrest for Burglary in Town of Leray

(Watertown, NY – Nov. 16, 2009) The New York State Police in Watertown arrested Jeremiah C. Collins (10/01/82) 43812 Stine Rd, Redwood, NY at about 4:45 AM on 11/16/09.

Collins is alleged to have entered the residence of Ernesto Ortega on SR-3 in the Town of Leray and stole a phone. Collins further entered Ortega’s truck stealing a back pack containing a lap top computer and several DVD’s.

Collins was located directly behind the Ortega residence by responding Troopers. Collins was also found to have been in possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was arrested and transported to SP Watertown.

Collins intentionally damaged property within the Watertown State Police Station. He was charged with Burglary 2nd degree, Possession of Burglary tools, Petit Larceny, Criminal mischief 4th degree, and unlawful possession of marihuana.

Collins was arraigned before Town of Pamelia Justice Baker and remanded to the Jefferson County Public Safety building in lieu of $50,000 cash bail.

Grand Larceny/Forgery Arrest

State Police in Watertown arrested 43 year old Jacquelin A. Oday of 8522A Spraight Loop Fort Drum, NY for one count of Forgery 2nd (felony), Grand Larceny 4th (felony) and Petit Larceny (misd).

The investigation found that Oday did steal a credit card and money out of the purse of Donna Donegan of Alexandria Bay while at Price Copper on Arsenal St. in Watertown. Oday left Price Chopper not only with the stolen credit card and money, but without paying for $326.09 in groceries. Oday then proceeded to the Sunoco on Arsenal St and made $71.98 purchase with the stolen card and then to the Salmon Run Mall where she made 3 unauthorized purchases at JB Robinson Jewelry ($1831.73), Kay Jewelry ($377.11) and vending machine that sells Proactiv Cosmetic ($58.94). The card was also attempted at two other merchants and declined. She was arraigned in the Town of Pamelia Court and RORed pending possible grand jury action.

State Police In Watertown Arrest Man For Breaking Into Jefferson County SPCA

The State Police in Watertown arrested Thomas E. Dominessy 05-11-81 21875 Admirals Walk Watertown, NY 13601 on 1 count of Criminal Trespass 3rd a Class B Misdemeanor. Dominessy is accused of breaking into the SPCA Water St, Town of Pamelia, Jefferson County on 09-17-09.

There was nothing taken in the break-in however a window screen was damaged.

Dominessy was issued an appearance ticket to return 10-08-09 7-00 PM T/Pamelia Court.
