Arrest Made in Theft of Town of Alexandria Supervisor’s Campaign Signs thumbnail

The New York State Police in Alexandria Bay arrested Thomas L. Eggleston, age 45, Theresa, for Three (3) counts of Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor.  The arrest took place this morning.
The arrest stems from a complaint filed 10/30/09 by Town of Alexandria Supervisor Martha M. Millett, who reported she has had about 15 campaign signs stolen over the last few days.  The Investigation revealed Mr. Eggleston as a suspect and he admitted to taking three signs that were located on Church Street, in the Village of Alexandria Bay.
He was issued an Appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Alexandria Court on 11/03/09, and released.
The Investigation is continuing.
