(Clayton, NY – Feb. 9, 2010) The Sate Police in Alexandria Bay made a third-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance arrest in the Village of Clayton on Feb. 9.
Trooper Todd Gorman and Trooper Pete Fisher were assisted by off duty Trooper Adam Swenson with a vehicle stop on Webb Street in the Village of Clayton at approximately 2:58 a.m. The vehicle was being operated by a Derik F. Hunneyman, 21, of 828 Rees St. Clayton. The investigation revealed that Hunneyman was in the possession of approximately 7.5 grams of cocaine and approximately 12 grams of marijuana.
Hunneyman was arrested for third-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. He was arraigned before Village Justice Clarence Giles and committed to the Jefferson County Public Safety Building in lieu of $10,000 bail.
