Grand Larceny From Walmart

(Watertown, NY – August 20, 2009) – State Police in Watertown with assistance of Troop D VFW Unit arrested 22 year old Taniece E. Barnes of 401 Graves St. Syracuse, NY and 20 year old Starlet M. Battle of 122 Richardson Ave Syracuse, NY, each with one count of Grand Larceny 4th and Criminal Trespass 3rd. On April 1st, 2009 subjects did enter into the Walmart Store located on St Rt 3 in the Town of Watertown, Jefferson County and steal approximately $1300 in Blue Rays and DVDS. The subjects had previously been issued a no trespass order by Walmart Corp., which led to the charge of Criminal Trespass. Both subjects were arraigned in the Town of Watertown Court and remanded to the Jefferson County Jail on $1000 bail.
