Identity Theft Arrest

(Watertown, NY – Month August 20, 2009) – State Police in Watertown arrested 23 year old Jessica M. Garcia of 10930A Anzio Loop Fort Drum, Jefferson County, NY, for one count of Scheme To Defraud 1st Degree and Two counts of Criminal Possession Of A Forged Instrument 2. Arrest subsequent to investigation that found that Garcia did use the personal information of another person and open up multiple credit cards in victims name and also her own name. These cards were used for approximately $24,000 in unauthorized purchases in Jefferson County Area. Garcia was arraigned in the Town of Leray Court and remanded to the Jefferson County Jail on $1000 bail.
