State Police Advise Motorists of Local Roads Closed for Funeral Procession thumbnail
State Police in Watertown advise motorists that several roads in the Village of Brownville will be closed tomorrow (November 9, 2009) for Trooper David J. Lane’s funeral procession from 8:30am until 3pm.
The main roads that will be affected include:
  • Mill Street into Brownville
  • Main Street (State  Route 12E)
  • Brown Blvd
  • Franklin Street
Several side streets will also be affected.  NYS State Department of Transportation will have detours setup around these streets for limited local traffic.
State Route 12E eastbound at the intersection of State Route 180 will be closed. An alternate route will be State Route 12F.
Public parking for those who wish to attend will be at the Brownville paper mill which is located at the intersection of Mill Street and Main Street.
