(Watertown, NY – March 12, 2010) State Police Watertown arrested 40 year old Howard J. Obrien of 8435 South Main St. Evans Mills, NY on a sealed indictment out of Jefferson County Court charging him with one count of Grand Larceny 3 and one count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd.
Indictment stated that Obrien did steal monies in excess of $3,000, while working in his capacity as Evans Mills Fire Chief between 2003 to 2007.
Obrien was arraigned in Jefferson County Court this morning and was RORed pending further proceedings.
