State Police and State Liquor Authority conduct checks of two Jefferson County establishments
State Police in Alexandria Bay along with the State Liquor Authority conducted checks at two establishments on Friday night, September 04, 2009.
Mike’s Tavern in Antwerp, NY was checked for underage drinking and other violations of the State Alcohol Beverage Control Law. Two people were arrested for possession of cocaine. They are, Robert P. Lacerte, age 23 of Philadelphia, NY, and Frank G. Pickert Jr., age 31 of Antwerp, NY.
Both subjects were issued appearance tickets returnable in the Village of Antwerp.
Mike’s Tavern violations are pending State Liquor Authority investigation.
Another establishment checked was The Last Call in Evans Mills, NY where no violations were noted.
